One of the great things about being involved with weddings is not only having the opportunity to share special moments with great couples, but also some of the amazing locations you get to go to that you would otherwise never know about. Ali & Dave’s wedding this past weekend was one such occasion…

Ali’s preparation was at the family home she’s grown up in - a property just out of Murwillumbah called ‘Morley’. An absolutely stunning location overlooking cane fields, with loads of natural light inside.

It had been teeming down with rain the days before and on the morning of the wedding, and although overcast most of the day, there was not a drop of rain in sight until the reception (that’s 2 wedding in a row )

Ali & Dave were married in a traditional Catholic ceremony held in the Sacred Heart church in Murwillumbah. Her sister Tori performed an amazing rendition of the Chantal Kreviazuk song, “Feels like home” - followed by a resounding round of applause from everybody present!

After photos at a couple of locations around Murwillumbah, we then headed back to the property for a marquee reception. What an entrance too, with Dave driving his new bride up to the waiting guests in a Fiat Bambino, no less!
